When Jillian first contacted me to inquire about wedding photography, I assumed we were strangers and she had just found me through Google. But once we got talking, I found out that I had photographed her many times years ago as a child in AmeriKick Karate. When she was searching through various photographers’ portfolios, she spotted her sensei on my website. For me, it was really exciting to have one of the children I had photographed return for their wedding photography! We shot her and Andrew’s engagement session, and because they were happy with those photos they decided to book us for their wedding as well.
Andrew and Jillian are a super nice couple – the kind that is not only deeply in love, but also fits together perfectly as best friends. Their wedding was on Jillian’s aunt’s farm, which was a beautiful setting, complete with 2 horses grazing in the field. Something new to me was the bar, which looked like a converted horse trailer. So cute
